My creative and talented husband @dapperdang has agreed to guest on the season 2 finale Q&A of my podcast ‘How to Curate Your Life - Work Life Balance for the Creative Entrepreneur’. Do comment or DM your questions to me and/or him/us. As well as being one of my best mates, a super involved parent and a rather good dresser/dancer/charmer, he is someone who worked in a full time corporate creative job for a decade. He chose to go freelance 18 months or so ago and has juggled his creative work with sharing the parenting of our baby Stan. He’s now looking at potentially retraining to become a teacher. Turns out he’s a bit of a multi hyphenate like me. On top of the above and his various creative foundations and degrees, over the years he’s worked at, helped at, supported me at SMUG and we’ve had various successes and slight failures working together as husband and wife. We both love personal style and interiors so have strong views to balance on our home, son, jobs, future, lives. Ask us anything you like about our careers, work life balance, baby stuff, relationship stuff, design/interiors stuff and we’ll do our best to share helpful and considered answers. Season 2 of the podcast has been as wonderful as season 1 for me as the creator. Thank you so much to those of you who guested on the show and to those of you who listened and shared. Feeling inspired to have a bit of a living room switch around. Loving the little details in pale pink and mustard we have going on and thinking about being bold enough to have some pieces of furniture in those colours. Would work really well with our mid century modern and Art Deco vibes me thinks. The @madedotcom #madesoho launch party on Wednesday night got me ‘hypothetical sofa shopping’. :)

AD | This is the year that I will be putting in place all of the tech and automation (specific to my personal needs) to make my business run as smoothly as possible. This will allow for more design time and more me time. More writing, coaching, mark making, recording podcast episodes, teaching workshops, speaking on panels, working with brands I love, spending time with my baby and whatever else takes my fancy. My Patio pattern is featured on one of my Wrapping Papers but has never made it on to another product. Well actually, that’s not technically 100% true. I have a dress made out of fabric I had printed especially for my collection launch party. But you know what I mean. Wondering if Patio would be nice on some Notebooks. Or even Napkins.
